okay so I know I’ve mentioned how much I hate the bazoinga show. Like my family watched a lot of it as a kid (and mom got like really defensive about it? It was weird). But like something that has made me Mad about it lately is like, the “nerd”-ness in that show is like very wide reaching and Very Shallow, while claiming to be extreme super DUPER nerdiness and it’s just like not true. Like this is such a small thing compared to the many Many other issues of the show, but it’s all so shallow. You can tell that most of the writers probably had no clue about anything substantial with Star Trek or any of the other nerd shits.
like it’s been forever since I’ve watched the show, but I remember very specifically an episode where Lead Bazonga Boy talked forever about how he was emotionless Just Like Spock. And it’s like, that’s SUCH a shallow (and frankly incorrect) reading of the text. Like I almost wanna go watch the big bong theory just so I can categorize all the things they got wrong about Star Trek.
