well...hm...personally i say sort of and no? hes no where near as extreme i dont think and they dont have entirely similar actions but i think in some ways you could say they are alike? i have definitely thought in depth about this before but i cant think of anything specific right now aside from the fact that they are both framed as terrible people for their actions that are...entirely justified

ok so ! definitely a loud soul. i think for relationships, ure very selective. u like people that u can trust, and people who are no-bullshit. u won’t fall in love halfheartedly. it’s either nothing, like friends w benefits, or a committed long-term relationship. maybe appears friendlier or sweeter than u actually are, might be manipulative to ppl unintentionally in order to advance in ur career/responsibilities or just to … Be Right. gets annoyed easily but forgives quick. and defs will do things out of ur comfort zone for ppl u truly love

hi! hello! ok so these are all kinda different but depending on what song you heard you might enjoy different stuff, but anyways here are my top 5 gang of youths songs (in no particular order):

magnolia--their most well-known song before gfil was released. pretty heavy subject but kind of a banger regardless

fear and trembling--has similar energy to magnolia, but while magnolia is the midst of shit, fear and trembling feels liike it was written immediately after surviving some shit. “I feel it all I feel everything and I know its weird but I fought the fear and trembling”

the good fight--this is an underrated song, let me be clear (the album) doesn’t get enough love. “am I calm enough? big enough? brave enough? bad enough?”

do not let your spirit wane and go farther in lightness--these are 2 separate songs but they’re right after each other on the album and for full effect you should listen to both of them sequentially. hits DIFFERENTLY

and of course sjamboksa, my personal favorite gang of youths song of all time

honestly gfil the album is worth listening to all the way through if you have the time. I’m not the HUGEST fan of tracks 2 and 3 though. but like... it reallly is an emotional journey.

honorable mentions if you like these and you’re looking for deep cuts: still unbeaten life, vital signs, evangelists (their first ever single released!), let me down easy (I’m guessing this is the one you listened to? it’s their most well-known), and the diving bell (this one has the iconic “stand close to the ghetto blasters playin fuck the police” line). also achilles come down of course
