Update

Happy Sunday/Monday to everyone! 

I hope your weekend has been wonderful :D We have about a month left for author sign-ups and two for artists, and I want to thank everyone that has signed up so far! I’m excited with all of the participation and enthusiasm so far. If you haven’t gotten your email or the Discord invite expired, feel free to email me or reach out on Tumblr to notify me, and I will rectify the issue as quick as possible. 

To those of you who have not signed up yet but would like to, here is the link ^_^ I try to send out emails as quickly as I can, and I am always more than happy to have some more participants! The deadline will be in May, so there will be lots of time to work on projects and get help. And you are also allowed to participate as both roles, or write two story entries, if you choose :D Create your own destiny. 

Also, as I’ve received many questions and inquiries on the topic, so I am reminding everyone that bid summary forms (filled out by authors) will be released just after author sign-ups close. But, I may be posting a copy of the sheet, so everyone knows what to expect with its release. So be on the lookout for that :D

Update Two

So pumped with all of the participation and excitement that has continued to come in the for the 2019 HankCon BB! Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far and reached out to me about questions and getting to know each other. I have no doubt this is going to be an amazing event! 

For those of you who would still like to sign up as an artist or author or even both!!! Here is the link :D And the blog will also help you to navigate dates and deadlines. 

For those of you that are already participating, 

I will be releasing the bid summary form (filled out by authors) at the end of month or at the beginning of the next, so there will be time to analyze it, ask questions, and resubmit it should you change your mind or have a discrepancy. The finished form just must be submitted before the deadline. If you are writing more than one entry, keep in mind you must submit a single form for each story. 

Artists will then be examining them and making their bids in January, with pairing following soon after. 

If, by the end of author AND artist signups, we have more authors then artists, I will be contacting those of you who stated on the sign-up sheet that you are open to pinch hitting to see if you would be willing to take on another pairing and thus work with TWO different writers. 

If there are artists who need to drop out in the following weeks, or there are compatibility issues, I will ask around in this same group of people to ask for pinch hitting. Or I may be asking for artists to work together, should the numbers necessitate or if there are concerns of completion, competence, confidence in one’s work. 

Of course, if none of the above are okay with you, you are more than welcome to stay with one partner and project. After all, this is all about fun, and I want to make sure it’s as safe, fun, and non-stressful for everyone!
