Regarding Tumblr and NSFW
We are going to be making a Twitter account (hankconbb2019) for the BB in case there are some issues. You are not required to get a Twitter as a result, and I will be keeping the same updates on Tumblr, but it will allow all of you an option of posting full NSFW art or just your pieces for those of you who are more familiar with the platform. There will also be guidelines given to artists about how to keep previews safe, on Tumblr, and I also highly recommend adding the artwork alongside the fic on Ao3. (If anyone needs helps with embedding images, we will go over that as we get closer to the date).
I have also heard that links do not work when searching for posts anymore, so if you do not want to have a link and therefore keep it out of searches, you do not have to include the link. We will be embedding a link to the Big Bang Ao3 collection on the Twitter and Tumblr page, which you can direct people to when searching for the work.
I do not want anyone to be limited in what they can create for the Big Bang as that as far from the original goal as possible, so we will be doing everything we can to keep your content safe.

After an unprecedented amount of support on the interest post, I am excited to announce the HankCon Big Bang shall proceed!!!

Now, be on the lookout for the artist and sign up sheets which should be up in the next 24-48 hours (which will receive their own posts and be linked here later). I would follow the tag “hankconbb2019” or follow the blog itself in order to stay updated as more information will be released.
Once the forms are out, they will be available for more than a month, but please do not wait to fill it out!!! It is better to register early to give yourself more time (as an author) to work on your bidding summary and let me know what kind of numbers we will have for pairings.
Sign up deadlines are as follows:
Authors: Nov 25, 2018 (11:59PM, Pacific)
Artists: Dec 16, 2019
Betas: Sign Up will open at a later date, unless checked on above forms

Artists
Registered artists, I know there have been a lot of posts and reminders about signing up to be an artist, but if you have already filled out the form and received the confirmation email (and decided to join the Discord server), then you are all good to go!
Rest assured that you can sit tight and just enjoy the ride until bidding in January :D Only heed the warning of sign-up deadlines if you have NOT filled out the form.
If you are also signed on as an author, then you can take a look at the summary submission form and fill that out. Otherwise, just feel free to relax and hang out on the server, should you have a Discord.

I hope your weekend has been wonderful :D We have about a month left for author sign-ups and two for artists, and I want to thank everyone that has signed up so far! I’m excited with all of the participation and enthusiasm so far. If you haven’t gotten your email or the Discord invite expired, feel free to email me or reach out on Tumblr to notify me, and I will rectify the issue as quick as possible.
To those of you who have not signed up yet but would like to, here is the link ^_^ I try to send out emails as quickly as I can, and I am always more than happy to have some more participants! The deadline will be in May, so there will be lots of time to work on projects and get help. And you are also allowed to participate as both roles, or write two story entries, if you choose :D Create your own destiny.
Also, as I’ve received many questions and inquiries on the topic, so I am reminding everyone that bid summary forms (filled out by authors) will be released just after author sign-ups close. But, I may be posting a copy of the sheet, so everyone knows what to expect with its release. So be on the lookout for that :D
Confirmation Emails
The show is getting on the road, and some of the confirmations are beginning to be sent out! I started with the artists, so authors may get theirs in a few hours from now.
You do not need to respond to the email, but if you signed up yesterday or a few hours ago, or don’t in the next few days then you should contact me!

If you would like to participate in the Big Bang, but want to write it with a friend, have a writing partner, you are free to do so! However, when you turn the form in, you will submit *one* for the both of you as you will be in one unit for one fic.
