The thing about really over-the-top and unsubtle political satire such as Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson is it always gets criticized for being TOO unsubtle when it’s contemporary and but then you just let it marinate and it’s barely parody. here we are a decade later and BBAJ is practically a 1:1 representation of how people in politics talk today. Okay. Cool. We should all feel normal about that.
