series by (and for) black people that is very woke about systematic oppression but especially anti-black racism in & out of the black community! its very awesome and discusses anti-blackness in genuine faith without heavily pertaining to respectability politics and/or washing its commentary down to be palatable to white people! but also you can definitely tell there should've been more black women in the writing room

As much as I like Boarders, it's very obviously and clearly a series in which most of the characters are guys. And they address Leah being the only scholarship girl, and yeah when the friends and roommates of the others are all guys, you end up with an unfair ratio.
