A Quick Ballum Rant!

Okay *gets up on top of soapbox* I have seen a lot of people cancelling Callum because he is “betraying” Ben by agreeing to hand over Phil...

BUT- Callum is doing what he thinks is right! After hearing how grasses are treated inside and knowing Bens true vulnerability he sees how Ben wouldn’t last another stint in prison.

And let’s face it- Callum has just found the relationship he has been looking for for half his life and he is not gonna let anyone stand in the way of him and the man he loves. He wants to protect Ben and at the end of the day if they were in each others shoes I think Ben would make the same deal for Callum! (I mean in January Ben was ready to kill Phil to save Callum so.....)

The ending of tonight’s episode spoke a thousand words. Ben saved Phil from dodgy Danny, helped him beat up the thugs and drove the getaway car, and has potentially lost all of his hearing in the process (even the little he had left in his good ear).

But what did Phil only care about at the end, I hear you ask?..... oh yeah, the money!!!!!

Ben is driving a car, clearly in agony and way over the drink driving limit, crying his eyes out as he realises what he has potentially lost and all Phil Fucking Mitchell gives a shit about is the money!!!!

THIS IS IT! THIS HAS TO BE THE MOMENT THAT BEN REALISES HOW TOXIC HIS FATHER IS AND BINS HIM OFF FOR THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE CALLUM HIGHWAY AND THE REAT OF HIS FAMILY!

I wonder where Ballum is going....

So hello again- I HAVE A THEORY!

I feel like eventually Callum is going to break! He is doing everything in his power to save the man he loves and yes he is proving his love for Ben is rich and true but he is also becoming a criminal in his own right.

I think it’s all going to get too much and he will more than likely have a breakdown when he will tell Ben everything and Ben, not wanting to lose his dad to prison or get Callum into more trouble, will hand himself in to the police and plead guilty.

I only think this because we all know that Max had a long holiday during filming so it’s more than possible that this is how it’s gonna go....

Also losing Ben to prison may lead into a PTSD storyline for Callum..... who knows..... thoughts???
