Merlin unknowingly foreshadows Freya's death.

When Gwen catches Merlin stealing a dress for Freya he talks his way out of the situation claiming moths had infested the dress, and that he would have to burn it. But at the end, after Freya dies (while wearing the dress), Merlin burns her body. Therefore he unknowingly wasn't lying when he said he would have to burn the dress.
