Always Remember That I Love You
Davonta Curtis was a 31 year old black woman, who loved fashion and sharing recipes with others. Her social media was filled with posts about her family and her adventures with her friends.
Juniper Blessing was a 19 year old girl who was interested in meteorology, pokemon, and if you've seen the videos, you know she had the voice of an angel when she sang. She was studying Music and Philosophy at UW.
Lucas Ameh Avery Knapp, or "Luca Redbeard" was a 39 year old nonbinary man. He created "Misfit Kitchen Gardens", a farm focused on education, community care, and land back support. Link to GFM (At 90%!!)
Aleanna Belcher was a 31 year old black women that had a huge passion for the arts. She made her own clothing and loved to dance. Her nieces and nephews saw her as a "guiding light" and she was very family-oriented.
Danielle Spillman was a 74 year old woman who had a huge passion for music, specifically guitars. She baked cookies for the employees at a guitar shop she frequented, and loved to play, buy, and modify guitars.
Shyyel Diamond Sanchez-McCray, or "Mable", was a 42 year old black woman who was a 3 time award winning drag performer and promoter. She was also an activist, and had her own catering service and pageant company.
Lanessa Rodriguez was a 35 year old Puerto Rican woman who had a heart of gold. She was close with her two sisters, brother, and grandmother, and made sure her friends were taken care of.
Hailey "Spotsie" King was a 29 year old who was known by many names, and a self identified "crossdressing" sissy that’s transitioning. Hailey was a selfless and caring person, willing to give up what little they had to help others. Link to GFM (Only at 8%!!)
And these lovely people are the only trans individuals we KNOW OF that have been killed this year. There are likely many more, so keep the named and unnamed in your hearts. I love you.
