I was kind of surprised at this prompt. I thought I didn’t have that many books with water on them but then I found a fair amount! Couldn’t fit them all in actually...though I’m a bit peeved because I have two books called “Admiral” and “Last Fleet” and...no water on the cover...really???! . . I really need to video how Groot just...he demands attention. As soon as I turn on the light or pull out the books or background, he’s right there. I never pose him. 😑 . . I had some helpers with today’s challenge. The background isn’t perfect - but they kind of make up for it. . . I imagine Groot asking Xena if she’s read this one yet. And then deciding to eat it. I think this prompt was technically supposed to be a book with a clock on it, I went with this instead. I have this cool clock that I really like and thought it fit in perfect with one of my first pre-orders of the year, Daughter of a Siren Queen! I have all this cool pirate jewelry so I thought it’d make a cool photo. . . I read Daughter of a Pirate King when it came in one of last year’s #owlcrate and thoroughly enjoyed it. Today’s #owlcratebookclub #bbmoonwarriors insta challenge is “Female POV,” which is practically all my bookshelves. I can probably almost count my male POV (well, the whole book as male POV) on only two hands. . . I kind of randomly picked some Female POV and had Xena join the shot!
