New art for bbno$ !! For his ‘Meant To Be’ song, I thought I’d play with the idea of being pulled underwater by toxic relationships. The hand reaching through his chest where there’s a void instead of a heart. Lemons being sour instead of sweet — like how fruits could be great ripe at the right time, but too early or too late and it’s not the right time for that fruit to be yours. All plays on the theme of the song <3

Had fun with it but again did it at the 11th hour (lol 11pm to be precise). So it is also a quickie but I enjoy how certain parts came out :)

My entry for the cover art contest for bbnomula !!

I’ve been having a hard time getting my art seen so I won’t be surprised if this entry doesn’t get seen, but I’m really happy to make a piece for him regardless with how he’s been supporting his fellow artists. It means the world to us. 💖

Naturally I had to take a little JayVik inspiration for the CEO of JayVik himself, but I also wanted to emulate the feeling of floating in the emptiness between time and space, the feeling of letting go, emptying yourself to let light fill the void left behind. His body is also positioned to vaguely mimic the hands of a clock pointing to 2:50 which is also the running time of his song. I hope you enjoy this bbno$, thanks for everything that you do and congrats to whomever wins the contest, everyone has been doing amazing! 💖
