Bonnie Bennett OC Celebration Day 3: Werewolf
Jax triggered his werewolf at a very early age and while he didn’t understand what was happening. He knew that it wasn’t safe for him to be around his adopted family, so he ran. He ran until a pack that followed the old ways found him. From six years of age up to his adulthood he stayed with the pack and eventually became alpha of the pack. When he caught wind of what the hybrid was doing. Jax made sure that everyone was aware of it and that they were even more careful. He refuses to leave anything to chance and Jax won’t allow for his pack to be used to the hybrid's own ends.
When Bonnie finally finds the pack in the Appalachian mountain range, she’s exhausted and running on fumes. However she is determined to talk to the alpha of the pack. Even though she expects absolutely nothing from him - he at the very least deserves to know. Bonnie had also gone through a lot of trouble to make sure that she covered her tracks - magically and otherwise. As to not accidentally lead Klaus Mikaelson directly to this pack.
It is one of the last few packs he hasn’t been able to find and Bonnie wants to keep it that way. When she finally gets to the clearing where the pack house is, she nearly sobs in relief. As Bonnie gets closer to the front step, she sees Jax step out to meet her. Bonnie already knows what he is going to say, so she starts talking before he can.
“I promise I wasn’t followed, I made sure that every step I took was and is untraceable. I even made this…” Bonnie lifts up a necklace to show him the swirling amulet of black tourmaline. “To be sure that no one can use a witch to try and find me. I made sure that I’m completely off the grid before even thinking of trying to find you… Look, all I’m asking for is five minutes of your time. That’s all and then I’ll leave and you’ll never have to see me again.”
Jax is frowning as he studies her and it makes her want to squirm in discomfort. He has always had an incredibly powerful presence that has always had some sort of an affect on her. Either good or bad and it has always depended on the situation and how it has been aimed at her.
A slight shriek of shock escapes Bonnie when Jax picks her up bridal style and carries her into the pack house. “You’re exhausted and drained, the least I can do is get you fed before we sit down to talk.” All Bonnie can do is sit in shock at the kitchen counter and silently watch as Jax prepares food for the both of them.
It isn’t until an hour later that they are sitting in Jax’s office and Bonnie’s completely calm and perfectly cozy. With a full stomach she’s very ready to take a nap like a kitten in front of a fire. What Bonnie is unaware of is Jax watching her with his wolf in his eyes and all the overprotectiveness and possessiveness that comes with it.
“I already know that you’re pregnant with my pups. My wolf sensed it the moment you came to my front door.” Bonnie startles and her eyes widen in panic at his words as she quickly cradles her barely there baby bump. A low growl escapes Jax at her actions. “Don’t. You. Dare. Run.” His words come out on a snarl and all Bonnie can do is continue to stare at him with wide and panicked eyes.
Jax gets up from his spot and stalks up to where she is sitting. He leans over her, “I knew the moment I scented you the first time that you are mine. I left because I wanted to do the right thing and give you a choice. Even though this wasn’t planned and I know you only came here to tell me because at the very least I deserve to know about my pups.”
He pauses and raises a brow as if waiting for her to try and deny it. Bonnie stays silent. “Now that you are here, now that you’ve tracked me down and went through all this work to make sure there is no way anyone can track you. I hope that you realize… I won’t be letting you go a second time Bonnie.”
Jax’s eyes darken with his wolf as he stares into Bonnie’s vibrant green eyes. “You are mine and those cubs you are carrying are mine. Do you have a problem with that?” All Bonnie can bring herself to is shake her head no. A slow, quite frankly dangerous grin comes to Jax’s face.
“Good.”
