{ ♎ } –  heart to heart talks with a sunbae, if you would have asked mei qi what she would’ve been doing an hour ago that surely wouldn’t have been an answer on her list. refreshing -- that’s the word she had been searching for; it’s nice to have an intelligent conversation with someone that’s older than her, someone that has seen the world more even in the slightest.  “i think that you're most definitely right sunbae. i believe that you and i have quite similar views on the subject. to be loved, admired or respected are all very different things. it all depends on your perception of these things whether it's bad or not to desire one over the other. we respect our parents and our elders, we admire those we idolize, and we love our family and friends. i’d rather be loved than admired -- but then respect that’s where i get stuck. i wish to be both loved but treated with the proper respect.” her words come out quickly but precisely as she runs them through her head again to make sure that she’s properly worded everything in a way that wouldn’t come off as offensive.

Baby Soul looked down at the puppy then back at Mina who was staring in shock but also in adoration. Grinning she answered. “What if I did steal this dog? What then?”

☾ ☄ ☽ ╾ Mina pursed her lips in a thin line while rubbing the back of her neck. Stealing was never a good thing, but the darn ball of fluff sitting in the girl’s lap was too cute to deny. She also had a soft spot for animals. If she could, Mina would adopt an entire shelter full of animals. The redhead then squatted down next to Baby Soul, running her hands under her backside to keep her skirt tucked. Staring at the face of the puppy, her heart warmed up instantly. “Well, I’m not quite sure... Where did you even get him from? Was he lost?” She quirked a quizzical brow while reaching a hand out to pet the dog’s brown curly fluff.

“Then I should be grateful that you haven’t made any jokes so far-” Baby Soul replied with a smile. Bowing she then introduced herself. “I’m Baby Soul of Lovelyz! It’s very nice to finally meet you, sunbae-nim!”

“Well, I've heard about you a lot from our Infinite friends,” Doojoon offered with a warm smile on his lips, “It almost feels like I already know you.” Nevertheless, he didn't hesitate before returning the bow, as polite as ever. “It's nice to finally meet you too. You're a fellow leader, right? Then we're guaranteed to get along.” A small grin painted his features as he gave a nod that was meant to be reassuring.

“That’s what the staff told me,” he answered, his hand rubbing the back of his neck. The stylist noona that was supposed to be in charge of today’s recording session turned out to be replaced with someone else, and in all honesty, the clothes that the new stylist chose for him… weren’t really comfortable. He let out a defeated sigh, “I guess I just have to stick with this weird shirt..”
