Wild Lives by Sarah Jean Alexander
“The sun falls asleep and the moon wakes up and I am overwhelmed at how everything exists and I am one of them.”
Sarah Jean Alexander’s book is a fantastic patchwork confessional of a search for identity in such an intimate collection of poems, prose, and one-liners. I found myself fixated on at least one line in every single piece and when it ended I wanted to shout THAT’S IT? Even her prose felt poetic and I cannot express enough how much everyone needs to read this book.
