There are several issues aboard BC Ferries vessels heading into the busy Easter weekend. The Spirit of Vancouver Island is still out of commission due to a generator problem that happened on Tuesday. I just spent 6 hours hanging out at BC ferries... waiting for my boat... so in total today... I've spent 8 hours hanging out with BC ferries, and I know most of yall aren't from BC... but BC ferries is the most liminal space place in the entire world. I feel like I've been in limbo for days. I had an apple, cold brew coffee, and half a bag of those "healthy" cheetos for dinner.
There were two kittens sitting next to me crying the entire ferry ride. There was an old man who kept touching my hair and looking at my iPad. There was a kid losing his mind five rows behind me, and on the TV, they were playing a hockey game. There was an entire boys hockey team watching said hockey game.
To top it off, the entire ride I am listening to silver springs (live) by Fleetwood mac
the 2003 playroom on The Spirit Of Vancouver Island (one of our ferry vessels here in BC) is some backrooms shit but such a core memory for me
