I have had my suspicions, but I do not directly ask my partner if they are autistic or not. In fact, I would prefer they come to me when/if they are ready to share something so personal. dee buying a bunch of those meditative colouring books during a particularly bad episode to try and help relieve some stress but getting even more wound up bc its boring and not helping so she gives them all to charlie who gets hooked on them and colours them all within a week . dee notices how quiet and concentrated charlie gets sitting at the bar colouring them in w various supplies franks gotten him over the years so she makes it a monthly thing buying him bundles of them from the book store bc the quiet and calmness they both get from the activity is better than anything else shes tried .

You know whats really fucking bullshit?? When plus size women feel fucking jealous of more conventionally attractive women for being catcalled and the like.

Like, I know it sucks and is horrible but our society is such that unless you work long and hard to undo all this shit you were taught then you feel so down and wothless as a fat woman that you become envious of the unwanted attention more conventionally attractive women get bc how else are you gonna feel loved? How else are you going to be shown that when people say you're pretty theyre not faking it?

And it sucks bc you cant ever say it. You can't ever acknowledge it. And you know it's wrong to feel these things but you cant help it, not really.

Its such fucking bullshit that we're taught so thoroughly to value being sexually attractive to men that for those with low self esteem not being harassed is upsetting.

Its just bullshit.
