the women's march grew out of protest against trump when he won, obviously it's both to show the new us gov that they're not okay with the policies they want to imply and the things they stand for, which correlate to a lot of the women's rights movement (which in turn is also intersectional obviously, so I get the confusion!)

oh right, see i thought the anti-trump protests were just that, which is why when i’ve seen the pictures from around the world it made no sense to me tbh.

#toddsfall #honestly the last time i did any form of protesting was when the iraq war was starting lmao #but i think i became disillusioned #bc nothing worked #but props to anyone who went out today #personally i wouldnt bc i feel that the womens rights movement has become very very warped in the last few years and it certainly doesnt #*stand for many of the things even my mum was protesting for in the 70s #(apparently i come from a long line of women who protest/get political early in life and then get bored of it lmao)
