Unlike my dislike for Peggy, I concluded I'm mostly neutral about Sharon. I don't ship her with Steve BUT she have an interesting background and they should have focused her story on being a spy instead of being a shoehorned-romantic interest in the MCU.

Adora and Catra haven't properly seen each other in four years, after Adora was adopted from the orphanage they were both raised in. They both went on to achieve their dreams of becoming musicians in a band...just, not together. Not like they'd planned.

After years of petty snide remarks and insults on red carpets, the two finally sit down at an award show after party and talk. After many emotions are shared on that illuminated balcony outside the festivities, the two decide to give friendship another shot.

Will it be smooth sailing? Or will they fall back into their old patterns?

“Wait!” Adora called, far louder than necessary. Her voice seemed panicked, and desperate. “I’m sorry, I…we- uh,”

Catra stared at the ground, her wrist tingling underneath Adora’s fingers. “Spit it out, Princess.”

She heard the blonde sigh, as she slowly let go of Catra. “We can talk, if…if that's you want.”

Catra contemplated for a moment, unsure of what she wanted anymore. Unsure of why she'd brought Adora out here in the first place. She may have told the blonde it was closure she wanted, a conversation, a line in the sand…but in reality, all she wanted was her friend back.

Yuma, Shark, Crow, Judai, Johan, Yuugo, Shun, Yuya, Zarc (I guess? does that count bc it’s more the idea of a character), Serena, Yusaku (I’m only naming top top faves bc there are too many...)

Clearwing synchro dragon, guardian eatos, black magician girl, no. 39 hope, stardust dragon

17: What merchandise do you own, if any?

I’ve got a bunch of ygo cards and 2 buttons (I lost the third :’( ) and a keychain and yuya’s pendulum (still have yet to get the emperor’s key... :( one day, one day), oh and I have one of the zexal mangas? and a fan comic book

21: Favorite protagonist?

Yuma (actually yusaku is getting up there too)

18: Do you prefer the dub or the original?

Personally I do prefer the original. Most of the crazy dramatic lines and more subtle moments just feel built for the certain way the japanese vas say their lines. The story is also very important to me so that’s where subs are at. I did grow up with the gx and dm dubs though so I’m kind of used to those voices and I honestly think they’re pretty good. Unpopular opinion maybe? I think dan green makes a far better yugi and atem than the original. I just think he’s a better actor overall.

And for Judai, i think the english VA has one of the NICEST and FRIENDLIEST voices I’ve ever heard. He has some cringey one liners but he just sounds so joyful and like such a nice guy???? that I just trust him and I don’t mind them. The only problem with it is that he was not a very convincing haou to me bc of that. I think Kenn got across both roles very well.

That said though the dub can have some gems in it. Mostly self-aware jokes (”watch out for his hair!!”/”I’m just a side character no one listens to me”) and I’m grateful to the dub for introducing young western audiences into yugioh

and also for everything seto kaiba says (”if at first you don’t succeed BLAST EM WITH YOUR BLUE EYES AGAIN” is my favorite line ever and I want it tattooed on my body)
