Seriously though Fire Emblem Three Houses has reignited a lot of my creative passion, directly informing the creation of at least one whole campaign setting, my current favorite character I’m playing as, and a whole lot more. It’s also reminded me how much I love tactical games...

And how much I love characters who’re A: gay of some flavor B: want to revolutionarily change a fucked-up society or C: BOTH AT ONCE AND FUCKING AWESOME BESIDES

Edelgard’s entire arc (in Crimson Flower anyways, imagine playing another story route I’m too weak) is just beautiful, and it’s also so damn satisfying to fight for a better, massive status-quo changing tomorrow and see it happen in all the ending cards. More games should have an entire path based on overthrowing the corrupt status quo wholesale and creating a fairer world with education and opportunity for all the people who couldn’t get that before.
