Maddie was happy to be able to spend some time with Kendall and it felt like it had been so long. She was glad that her mom was allowing her to have a friend over while her sister was busy ant thus her mom was busy. That’s where she was now, in the car waiting to pick Kendall up. Pulling out her phone she sent a quick text to let the other know that they were outside waiting before moving to get out of the car and go to the door to knock. She wanted to have fun and asked if her mom would let them go get some snacks before going back to their house. “Hey Kendall, I’m on my way to the door!” she typed quickly then sent.

It seemed to have been happening since they left Degrassi, and for once it wasn’t solely because of Frankie. She hadn’t been aware of how loud the two had became as she entered the Hollingsworth’s home, slamming the front door behind them. His voice was just as loud, if not louder, than hers as she berated her. Now they both stood in the living room, Frankie almost in tears as she yelled back at the boy. They hadn’t even been dating for more than a few weeks, and she was unsure as to why she had even accepted when he would act like this; though this was the worst it had been. “Maybe you should just leave!” She yelled, backing up from the other who didn’t budge and only replied with an even louder voice alerting her he wasn’t leaving until he was ready. What neither of them knew was that Hunter was upstairs, and if he didn’t have his headphones on, he could hear everything clear as day.

Kendall was nervous, she didn’t really know why Kalani had set her up but she was also excited. She wasn’t going to try and get her hopes up but she was excited. She’d known for a while that she was interested in girls but that also scared her, what if her dance mates made fun of her or worse but she wasn’t going to think about that right now she was just going to focus on trying to have fun meeting Mya and see where it went. “I’m sorry I’m late! I had to talk my mom into letting me go to the mall and promise I wouldn’t ruin my appetite for dinner,” she rolled her eyes.

“I’m going to be in so much trouble,” Kalani mumbled to herself as she wandered around the building. She’d gone to get something that she had left in her mother’s car but she couldn’t find the room she was supposed to get ready in. It was a dance competition and she wasn’t sure where she was going now that she had gotten turned around. “Maybe if just follow the signs I’ll find the right room but who knows,” she mumbled, not really talking to anyone. She was more worried about what would happen with her instructor should she not be back soon but it’s not like she was just goofing off she was truly lost, that should count for something right? Looking around she tried not to look as lost as she really was.

Waiting Games ♥ Gronah

Waiting was the hardest part of the last few months for Grace. She wanted to be able to live her life and be with Jonah without worrying about her lungs giving out on her. That was the scariest part about being with him, it wasn’t Frankie or what anyone else would say it was the what ifs that came with her health and she didn’t know how long it would be until she got another chance with new lungs. The first pair hadn’t survived and she hated it but now...now she knew that it had to work. Grace was pulled out of her thoughts when her phone started going off, picking it up a smile was on her face. “We...I have to go,” she replied as she looked up.
