Today was a great day at the #BlackComicFest2018. I was fortunate enough to present #AReasontoSmile to Harlem and it was well received. Every once in a while, I feel honored that I can use my book as currency to buy someone else's book. @Garsonthegreat's #SorghumandSpear is a beautiful book. You need to get on that! I wish I has a chance to see more of the artists and creators because there were some amazingly talented people there! One thing I realized is that there were a good number of creators who had created books through the funding they did on Kickstarter. As many people that have supported these kickstarters and as many that have successfully self published their own kickstarters, someone needs to take notice and start publishing us indie guys who are making it happen!
