End It: “Hatekeeper” Unpleasant Living (2022)
party poison brazenly cheats at all games because he can’t handle losing, and people let him because they don’t want to deal with the aftermath of him losing
BACK DOWN (Bristol,UK)
Party Poison is literally the pettiest man to ever exist and nothing can change my mind on that
Hit me with some Cherri Cola headcanons!
-He can make a decently edible meal out of pretty much anything. He also doesn’t let anything go to waste. He’s the guy who eats every part of the animal, and he’ll eat basically any food no matter how old it is as long as it isn’t visibly mouldy.
-He spent 3 or 4 years camping in the desert once he left the SFP. He just wandered around every day and would set up his tent where he stopped. He’s an excellent survivalist.
-He could pack his entire life into a backpack in about 5 minutes if he wanted. He’s happy where he is and he doesn’t plan on leaving, but he spent so much of his life on edge and moving around that he habitually keeps a mental checklist of which items are important to him and which aren’t.
-He naturally has pretty black and white morals, but he’s made an effort to not cast judgements anymore, especially without knowing the whole story. Even if he can’t help himself from judging, he keeps his mouth shut about it.
party poison is so much like kylo ren i don’t even have the words to properly describe it
Some Thoughts about Party Poison I Guess
-He always has something in his mouth. Usually cigarettes or gum, but he’ll chew on his pencils in a pinch. But actually the man smokes a ridiculous amount. Where does he even get the disposable income for that?
-He loves attention, and he loves to socialize and go to parties. He’s also hot af and probably the most famous guy in the desert, so people love him. He hooks up a lot. And he loves being recognized; there’s nothing that could ever convince him to drop his iconic “Party Poison” persona.
-He 100% believes he’s the Phoenix Witch’s “Chosen One”. He has psychotic episodes where he hallucinates her voice, and sometimes an abstracted silhouette of her. He hears her tell him everything– her secrets, how to properly pray to her, how following her is supposed to be done. It’s lead to him having a bit of a god complex, and also to him being absolutely insufferable when it comes to the Witch. He’s increasingly obsessed with her, and there are days where every conversation he has just HAS to be about her.
-Although he’s an extremely loud person, personality-wise, his personal religious experiences are the one thing he’s extremely private and secretive about. He’s very, very open to telling people how to do things (he’s a huge narcissist), but refuses to talk about what he’s actually experienced with the Witch, even to Kobra. There are times where he’ll just sit in silence at his shrine to her for hours on end, and you’d better not fucking disturb him.
-His weakness is compliments. No matter how pissed he is, you can usually get a reluctant but genuine smile out of him if you tell him you like his art or even just that you like his hair. And he is a good artist.
-He has horrible nightmares and insomnia, so he rarely sleeps. He sits and watches over Kobra most nights. He’s terrified of losing him, and it’s calming to just know he’s there and that he’s safe, at least for a few more hours.
-He’s incredibly loyal to his family (ie Jet, Ghoul, and Kobra). You don’t even think about messing with them unless you want him coming after you. Almost everyone else can go fuck themselves though, he couldn’t give less of a shit.
-He refuses to be wrong or compromise. Everything has to be his way, all the time. If you tell him a plan has flaws, he’ll just double down. He and Ghoul end up screaming at each other or beating each other up constantly, because they both always want to be right. They’ll do this over silly little things that wouldn’t even require bickering normally, like who gets to drive.
-That said, he’s really thrived in the desert in some respects. He’s much, much happier than he’s ever been before (although a lot of that is due to BLI being Bad™ at certain mental health things) and he’s really learned a lot out in the desert, both about himself and about killjoy ideology. He’s also a great speaker and is very charismatic, so that’s helped I guess.
-Pony introduced him to a way to make hallucinogens from desert plants, and he’s started to abuse that really badly in hopes it will ‘clear his mind’ or make him understand deeper truths about the world. It’s... not good for him. Especially since he already deals with hallucinations, it makes it worse. Yeah, I’m serious he legit believes he’s 1 step down from being a god, almost to a point where it’s driving his focus away from BLI.
-He’s insanely jealous of Mike Milligram. He desperately wants to be a zone legend when he dies. The worst thing he can imagine is being forgotten, or being remembered as a ‘nobody’ in the rebellion.
-So yeah, basically Party Poison is a hot mess and is a terrible mixture of unhealthily self confident/egocentric and unhealthily anxious. But he’s still happier than he was in the city, and he’s mostly a really cool guy. Unless you ask Ghoul, then he’s only cool like 1/3 of the time (but he loves him unconditionally). And he loves his family very much.
