He was running. Such a familiar sensation, and one he had missed. There was only one destination in mind, and he hoped -- he hoped he wasn’t too late. But then again, six months was a rather long time. Would... would he still be there? After what happened, Barry had gone back to their apartment, noting that they were running low on baking supplies, and items he wanted use to make dinner. The speedster had merely smile, wrote a note telling Sebastian that he would be making a quick run ( heh ) to the grocery store. Not to wait up for him. They’ll have pizza tonight from Coast City, maybe Barry might even feel the energy to get some desserts from Paris. Yes, sometimes he liked to spoil his boyfriend. This had been the intention for that night, except... except it didn’t go according to plan. Barry found himself int he speed force, without so much as a goodbye or an explanation left for Sebastian
Trust was he had no idea if he’d be coming back, and there was dread that filled up inside him at the uncertainty. He left him, not on purpose, but he had no idea. And the guilt of that weighed heavy on his heart. So when he came back, things were different, things had changed, the Flash was reborn. But the first thought that passed through his mind ‘I have to see him’. Then he’s running, racing, please be there, please-- please! God, how was he going to explain what happened? Would Sebastian believe him? What if he left? What if... ( he suddenly felt a little nauseous ) what if he moved on with someone else? No, no don’t think like that, try to be positive. You’ll find him. You will, and you’ll explain. At the very least he deserved answers. He’s there, he’s at their door, he fumbles, the key-- did he, yes, he did. He always kept a spare at STAR labs just in case, grabbing it before he left. A moment of hesitation, and then he opens the door.
Please.
“Sebastian-!”
