Just when I thought I was done being sad about Nacho here comes 9x06 with the steel chair
Was about to post just a screenshot but this is one of those scenes that has to be viewed. Rhea seehorn is a powerhouse. You can see it as she slowly stops being able to physically repress it, and then her grief comes out explosively! MY chests hurts just from watching
[kidnaps Vince Gilligan misery-style]
WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND THIS! WHAT'S THEIR RELATIONSHIP LIKE??
Elaborate on that Vince.
Mom couldn't remember nacho's name so he called him "el hijo del tapicero" (the upholsterer's son) and the thing is. He really is!!!
Giancarlo Esposito deserved a thousand Emmys for this scene alone
Watching Lalo die in 6x08
Technically speaking the deuteragonists of brba and bcs both got the same ending:
Jesse's ending implied he could have a relatively normal life from then on: I'm thinking having a job, a small house, maybe even some casual friends. And the message was clear: this is a good thing for him. After everything he went through he deserved a second chance at a normal life!
Then in bcs we actually see Kim get all of that: has a 9-to-5, a house, surface level friendships, a jakey. By all means she has a good life. But it was framed SO miserably, this is clearly not the life she would've chosen for herself in any other situation!
