EPIC OPAL TUTORIAL!! - After many request here is the tutorial for how i created the opal nail! I think everyone will be surprised just how simple the design really is. It's really just a matter of layering and what stone you are referencing.

POOL PARTY!  A summertime inspired mani + tutorial at the request of one of my followers :)

What I used: Love & Beauty - sky blue, Love & Beauty - light blue (sheer glitter), Love & Beauty - lime, Sally Hansen - hard to get, Sally Hansen - pacific blue, Sally Hansen - crushed, china glaze - purple panic (neon), sinful colors - black on black, light blue micro glitter, seche vite, seche clear.

You will need white, 4 variations on a color (i.e. four different shades of blue), top coat base coat, gold polish.

1. create shape. 2 - begin to map the facets 3 - map one half of facets. 4- mirror all facets. 5 - color in highlights and brightest color. 6 - color in darkest sections. 7 - add in medium tone. 8 - add in second slightly darker medium tone, accentuate facets with white highlights in center and blend sections. 9 - accentuate facets  with darkest color for depth in center. 10 - create “setting” with a outline and a gold color. TOP COAT!
