Hiding in the poorly constructed camping tent situated under the big forest tree in the middle of the night. Resting within his big hand’s grasped is an old book that once rested deep in his backpack, and with the use of the ill lit of light coming from the authentic gasp lamp hanging in the tent, Kiyong make use of his sleepless nights by reading the old story. It is one of those days he planned a weekend away from the burden metropolitan and have a time only for himself in the outskirts. A great way for self reflection and rest.As he was in the middle of the book he was reading, the man slowly sensing his eyes failing him. Lids began to feel heavy as the bushes, and forest grass and trees rattle together into a lullaby just for him. Yawning once every ten minutes or so, Kiyong finally decides to stop reading and to get himself ready to sleep. As he was about to blow the lights out, a sudden movement coming from outside has poked him alert. With furrowing brows, and curious eyes, he pokes his head outside the tent but found nothing, so he simply shrug his shoulders off, wants to conclude that it’s just part of his imagination.His legs already deep in his sleeping back, the notorious sound came whispering against the curves of his tent again, sending off intimidating sensation through his spine. Kiyong made another choice and bravely peaks from the small crack of his tent, and there he saw a blur of a figure passing through so swiftly. He blinks his eyes, still in doubts that it’s just part of imagination, but the longer he stares at the figure just a few meters nearby, the more the image became solid. It was a man, embraced by the shadows, as if it was in surveillance and waiting for a moment of attack. Shifting away from panic , Kiyong pulled his weapon of choice from the side of his tent, in queue in case there comes an assault. He was ready to save his life just in case, but then the figure station nearby step no foot closer. He stood there, pinning his eyes on him.  The next minute he was walking swift back towards the woods. He hurried down the woodland path and was gone.Confuse, scared but intrigued all at once. And by unfathomable force, Kiyong swift from the safety of his tent to follow the stranger. An awful mistake, maybe.

“Anything?” the world left his lips with much thought, his fingers lightly brushing his guitar strings as he took in the intoxicated woman—no, the girl —in front of him. She was beautiful by Taemin’s standards, but with her short stature and soft features he couldn’t help but wonder if she even of age. It wasn’t unusual for underage drinking to take place in a venue like this, so it wouldn’t be much of a surprise. Taemin was hesitant about giving into her request; he had just finished his set and was ready to collect his gig money before going back to his apartment to drown in self-pity until he passed out from pure exhaustion. Just another night in Taemin-land.

‘I only want to feel happiness again’ her words annoyingly echoed in his mind and he knew at once he couldn’t ignore a request like this. A song could potentially make the young girl feel better, if only it could do the same for him. A small wave of sadness quickly washed over him before he swallowed it down and gave a nod causing his brown tresses to fall into his line of vision before he pushed his hair back.  “Alright then but remember: you did say anything.” His fingers met the guitar strings as his mouth moved near the microphone before he spoke into it, trying to keep his voice steady “I’m going to play a song one of my best friend’s wrote, it’s called Symptoms.” He informed the patrons of the establishment but it being so late in the night the place was near empty and those that were still present paid him no mind. It didn’t matter much because Taemin wasn’t singing for them, anyway. With his dark brown eyes locked on her’s, his lips parted as he began to sing a song that he hoped would fulfill her wish.

        { ∞ }        She nodded, giggling softly as she brushed away the few strands of hair falling on her face. Ariel knew she shouldn't be allowed to go up on stage but she wasn't one to care about all the rules so much, so here she was pulling herself on it before walking closer to the other.

          She was still holding on her glass of alcohol, staring at the remaining drink with a dazed look before sipping on it. It was hot under the spotlight, yet relaxing. In addition, the boy's voice and soft melody soothed her mind and thoughts like a nice lullaby. Little did she notice that her body slowly slid down on the wall, finding herself in a sitting position in which her legs were pulled to her chest with both of her arms lazily secured around them. Ariel didn't realize that from that moment, she lost all of her strong image to slowly turn back to her old self -  the innocent little Ahri who wanted nothing more than the nice daughter-parents relationship she never had. Fortunately, she has one supportive brother, yet he wasn't often present back then, when she was forced to be secluded in a mental institute. He did come back when he learned about the new  so he could pull her back out of there, but now he was gone again - abroad and busy with his own work.
