Walking back over to the same machine, he places a palm on the same spot, hesitatingly exerting some repelling force. No telling what this could do.
‘Some repelling force’ is hardly enough to prepare you for the complete ejection of your person that occurs not a nanosecond after you apply your gift to the sooty spot. You can see it crackle in response to the exertion of your gift before shorting out as you ascend skywards across the trial room, barreling down somewhere between Colt and Liam from above as a result of the force. Ouch.
