Dont get me wrong…. I love this country. I am very lucky to have the upbringing I do. I am thankful for a family that cares about me, a job that provides food and a home. However, we live in a terribly flawed country that grows worse by the second. When will we as Americans open our eyes and start taking accountability for the country we are creating and start working together to make this country great?
How can someone be placed on a no fly list or FBI watch list and still be allowed to purchase an automatic rifle?
Why on earth does anyone need to purchase and automatic rifle?
Why do we allow people to spew such hateful words that promote violence and say it’s free speech?
How can we allow segregation in the name of religion?
How is it possible the two people competing to lead this country are both in legal trouble for breaking the law?
Why have we become so uptight as Americans that we get offended about every thing?
When will parents open their eyes to the amount of bullying that is taking place on snap chat and Instagram?
When will we get an economy that doesn’t require both parents to work full time so they can spend more time with their kids to combat bullying?
When did it become ok for people to comment all over social media to verbal and/or emotionally abuse others ? Again in the name of free speech.
How on earth is a man convicted of rape only sentenced to 6 months of jail because he has suffered just as much as the victim?
When will people stop protesting and degrading women who want abortions and go out and do something like foster one of the thousands of kids that weren’t aborted but feel alone and abandoned by the system?
When will we stop complaining about the violence and thugs and swarm the poverty stricken neighborhoods? Be a big brother big sister and help these kids make it to their future.
Why are we promoting individualism to the extent that people think they no longer have to answer to authority figures?
What happened to the days when people respected their elders?
Was spanking really that bad?
How is it possible someone can invest years and experience into a job just to be replaced by someone with no experience and just out of college?
How is it someone can spend 4-6 years in college and accrue enough debt that now their dream job can no longer pay for the American Dream?
Why is it transgender Americans have been allowed to use restrooms of their choice all along but all of a sudden it’s national news?
Why is it when helping a child pick a gift everything has to be labeled as a “girl” toy or “boy” toy?
How can a parent go without being in their child’s life and never have to pay child support?
Why is it someone with a mental illness can’t get the help they need?
Why are there so many veterans commiting suicide or living on the streets when they fought for our country?
Why do we make sure criminals have a bed to sleep in and 3 meals a day but not our veterans or senior citizens?
How the hell is it even possible for a toddler to enter a gorilla exhibit?
Why is it just another day when we hear about a shooting in the news?
Why do we argue about change for 3 days and then it’s forgotten until another mass murder?
Why have we forgotten about all the lives that we have lost in 2016 to violence, suicide, and mental illness?
Why do we let fear rule us and allow us to discriminate against a certain type of people?
So much is wrong with our country and nothing can change without us. But it takes all of us. It takes everyone saying, “Enough is Enough.”
