So the train to Budapest was delayed, not by much, it was like 30 minutes, I didnt even really notice, and suddenly I get the notification on my international payment app that I was reimbursed like 60% of the ticket price. 20 minutes after we arrived. In Austria you can ask for money if you're THREE HOURS late and you actively have to apply for the reimbursement!! I can safely say now that I <3 the Hungarian rail service!

personally i am a yapper and i will talk about the things i'm passionate about genuinely and i WILL love loudly and tell you that i like you because i think people deserve to feel appreciated and also sometimes a simple message that takes less than 5 minutes can uplift someone's day. can i just say that kindness costs NOTHING and should not be an exchange exactly. like sometimes you have to choose to be kind with nothing in return for that and i think that's beautiful. like yes making others comfortable and laugh is Enough

I don't hate the idea of all the games and staggered start times tonight. But having this on a Tuesday is silly, no matter which North American timezone you're in

They're doing another "all 32 play" day on January 13 (aka a Saturday) - that time of year is prime hockey season, so probably better than now with football and playoff baseball. Except starts aren't staggered for that day at this point. So 16 games have 6 different start times, and they're all on the hour, so intermissions will more than likely overlap anyways

Now, I don't know where the NHL got the idea that fans want nights where every team is playing. Most common request I see is stagger the start times, and don't have days where 1-2 games are happening (which we inevitably get when there's 16 in one night). They've somehow managed to go 1 step forward then 3 steps back, all in a matter of months
