New tumblr scam please read

Y'all this is a warning, there is a new scam going around. It starts with an account that looks like normal user accounts messaging you saying that they have reported your account for any number of reasons.

If you get something like this please immediately block and report them, because they are using this method to try and get you to exit your account and then completely blocking your from your account.

My friend has lost her entire account with no point in trying to recover it, they even got into her email. She thankfully got the email fixed but her account is lost now, she has no way of entering it again, and even using other devices haven't helped.

There is a tumblr user under the name of @.wolfwallstreeter that all artists (especially those who are minors) should be wary of. Last summer, I had my first interaction with them. I don't have the screenshots of the tumblr dms (they were innocent and not worth mentioning anyways) but I will momentarily be providing photos of discord dms (note: their discord ID is 396153083497021440)

From my recollection, our interaction started like most I get in dms, requesting a drawing. I agreed to take their request, and they asked to speak on discord because it was easier for them. We began talking on discord, and this is where I can provide screenshots.

After this, I blocked both their tumblr and their discord, but I believe their old tumblr was deleted hence why they were able to message me, and they were able to contact me again recently because I was the one who sent the message request, not knowing that it was them.

The latest interaction was essentially the same as the first, they commented on one of my posts and asked to request some art, along with asking for my discord for easy communication (these messages have now been deleted on the post in question).

When we began the dm, they sent me this message.

This is when I realized who they were, and I sent them a message afterwards detailing that I do not want any contact with them in the future.

If you would, I am asking that you please report their tumblr, and (if you have it) discord.

TUMBLR USER WARNING!

I know there are scammers out there on the internet, but this one could be at least 40-65% scammer. That and they have a MAJOR complex. They think that "they're the best person ever" and their "art is better than anyone's best".... Really?! I've seen better Owl House drawings in my nightmares! And to top it off, @oilith thinks they're GOD! Umm, no you AIN'T!

I have screenshots that my Tumblr friends have shared with me, I feel compelled to warn other users, because oilith COULD TRY ASKING FOR YOURS, TOO!

One of my friends had the unfortunate pleasure of chatting with @oilith recently and oilith ASKED FOR MY FRIEND'S CREDIT CARD INFORMATION! Yeah, no joke! Why? Because oilith is "broke"! Yeah.... So, if you deal with this delusional knucklehead.... PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS.

Summary for people who don't wanna read: Block and report people commenting "Hey i need to message you about your account but it wont let me!!!" they are scammers trying to get into your account.

So i already almost got scammed once and the first time a guy commented saying he accidentally reported my account and I was naive and didn't know at first so i went along till we were on discord and he asked me to change my email.

and Tumblr (thank GOD it had a warning) was like "hey dude- Uh make sure the email is an email YOU can access!! Not a randos" so i voiced my concerns.

then the guy fucking ghosted me and deleted his account lol But just today a person commented.

I was skeptical but went through just to see if it was the same scam. (also so i could get pics to inform more people!!) and sure enough. Same ass message

First of all Tumblr would send ME the email not the guy who reported me.

Also the dudes Reblogs were all 4 hrs old (yes I scrolled to the bottom) and no likes so it was definitely a bot or smth. (ALSO I ALREADY REPORTED HIM!!!)

So please be careful REMEMBER Tumblr never contacts people through discord You would be getting informed if your account is going to be deleted. And make sure to check if the account saying all of the bullshit is new or old.
