"Be Teachable. You don't know everything and you're not always right."
Just wanted to highlight this bullet from my pinned post since I've unexpectedly gained so many new followers. Putting out my ideas and opinions is a risk! A risk that I may expose that I have subconscious biases; or that I don't understand an issue as well as I think I do; or that I'm not aware of certain issues, changes in terminology, etc. I promise that if I screw up (I have before and I will again), it's never coming from a place of malice. I try to be teachable. I try not to double down on the wrong thing just because I feel attacked. Believe it or not, this is one of the few places I feel like I can have good-faith discourse with a large pool of people with diverse perspectives, and I want to do that for the sake of my personal growth.
As such, you can also trust me to interpret you in good faith if you disgree with me and express it (and if I don't, call me out on that). I know discourse isn't for everyone, and sometimes people just want to get their opinions out there, but I've already had a few instances where people have hidden critiques/criticisms of my ideas in their tags or dropped a dissenting comment just to leave when in both cases, I'm ready to listen, discuss, clarify, and/or change my mind or agree to disagree.
I do try my very best not to act a fool on the internet, and I appreciate all of you who have liked something I've posted enough to want to see more. Thanks for being here. Thanks for lending me your perspectives. ❤️

My prayer for you and me is that the Lord would keep us teachable all the days of our lives. The Lord opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6) He will give us grace upon grace as we humbly seek to learn.
My mind is open which means I am always ready to change my beliefs based on new evidence or new insight. I love expansion. I am open to learning and constantly growing. Share your perspectives with me. Let’s have intellectual conversation. Expand my consciousness. Kiss my third eye.
