whoa.
Poor Crash Bandicoot. Someone better tell Caddicarus.
I may have had too much fun with this find.

the saint from your "share non-selfie photos" post is probably St John the Baptist, holding baby Jesus
I actually think it is indeed St Anthony as @ritabuuk suggested as they are often depicted with lilies and holding the baby Jesus, and now I've extracted the image from the frame (and the sand) I can see it clearer.
It's a wee bit wibbly due to seawater.
Here are the interesting finds that week among the beach litter. Including the remains of a (I'm guessing knock off) Labubu it seems.
Inktober 52 2023 - Week 10 - ‘Frame’
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
So I do a lot of beach cleaning and one day I found a ‘frame’, complete with evidence a Keel worm once had a home on it. I’ve sort of wanted to use this as a prop for photos or paintings, and I’ve since collected some smaller bits of drift wood (we don’t usually get the nice sanded down branches and more the ‘bits of wooden pallets’ here) to paint on. I’ve done a tiny little painting of a velvet swimmer crab claw after finding one on the beach recently (it’s so bluuuuue).
The frame is actually too big for this little painting, but I edited it together. The sea don’t provide a canvas size option. Unfortunately.
And BONUS TIME. I used up my excess paint on another small bit of drift wood and make a rough sea scene.
This is one of my fave sea glass pieces I’ve ever made, it’s a naturally wave-weathered piece but it’s almost a perfect triangle, and I’ve hung it in a way that it swings as you move!
This was super lovely to see even better to see the beach looking clean though

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION - POST HERE MORE.
I have more than enough picture of the things I find litter picking on my local beach; I just need to get into the habit.
Until then, have a load of festive themed things I have found over the years! With so much waste the season produces; it's amazing I've not found more.
Many sparkling things; Tinsel seaweed, a skinned robin, a deer whelk and more!
Once found what I suspect is part of a deer antler, complete with golden string on a 'branch; which likely held a decoration at some point.
Also found a piece of a Christmas light decoration originating from a cargo spill:
I even acquired an entire wreath. I should do something with it; i have since added a ton of fake plants i have found to the 'antler' in the past.
Happy new year and here's hoping to a cleaner future.
