One of my favorite spots in Washington? Right here. Grayland Beach State Park is just minutes from Westport, Washington. It's Chihuahua approved (as long as she's wearing a warm sweater) and has amazingly comfortable yurts for those of who would rather glamp than camp. Our top yurt pick is 87, though we recently stayed in pet-friendly 25 and would recommend it as well. Want to watch the sunset? Trek up the dune at trail 3 and take a seat on the bench at the top. You'll have a panoramic view of the Pacific Coast that's to die for.

Taking a quick glance in the bathroom mirror, he ran a hand through his sandy brown locks and tousled it a bit. Collin wasn't really one for looks, so he really couldn't care less about how he looked right now. All he cared about was hanging out with a new face, showing her around, making her laugh-- Well, that's all he ever wanted to do: make people laugh. He supposed it was the only thing he could do best, but if it made people smile, then it was better than nothing, yeah? Clad in a grey and white striped shirt and a pair of dark shorts, he stepped into a pair of faded black canvas boat shoes and headed out the door, leaving his electronic belongings behind-- except for his iPod, of course. Now that, he couldn't live without, but that was besides the point.

He'd already familiarized himself with the hallways of the building because of many reasons; late night walks when he wanted to think, trekking down them for the sake of meeting someone, or just because he's been there for a while. Though, oddly enough, he felt like he hadn't done much since his arrival, but he hoped that would change. Walking along the hallway, Collin ran his hand down the wall, listening to the fabric of the wallpaper buzz against his fingertips, smiling as the feeling of the bumps tickled his hand. He hummed John Mayer's "The Heart of Life", a song that always played in his subconscious, as he made his way down to Santana's room, rapping lightly on the door. "Hey there, it's Collin."
