This one is very different from my usual style, but I had a lot of fun painting it! This as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday a couple of months ago, created while listening to Moomin audiobooks. He's a huge fan of swimming and the seaside, and I wanted to paint something that reminded me of him.
2024 may 6 // Spending vacation in Greece of course means plenty of visits to the beaches. I’m actually not interested in going into the water, but stay on the beach looking for beautiful stones and sea shells instead. Here are some stones from my batch from yesterday when we visited the beach in Loutraki:
I truly love the shapes, colours and patterns of these stones. Of course, once you take them out of the sea water and they dry, they always look dull. So I washed them, let them dry in the sun and then painted them with transparent nail polish 😁
