Something special happened today.  Our family has a custom - we make mandalas for Summer Solstice, most often at the beach, and this is today's effort, featuring pohutukawa and oak leaves.  But this time, when we returned to watch the tide take it away after dinner, we had a surprise - someone had made a lovely sister version of our mandala while we were away.  <3
