Weiss found Yang on the balcony. She stood back, watching Yang as she watched the other ball guests. Eventually she made her decision grabbing the blonde's hand she dragged her down to the dance floor just as a slow dance started. Yang gave her a confused look, as if to ask if she was sure she wanted to slow dance with her. Weiss just rolled her eyes and grabbed Yang's hands, placing them on her waist.
They danced slightly awkwardly for a while until Weiss leaned in and rested her head against Yang's shoulder. She let out a chuckle and Yang leant back looking at her questioningly.
"You know for someone who said they were going to be turning a lot of heads tonight, you haven't danced with anyone but Blake. I thought you'd have people fighting over you like a pack of hungry wolves. Or is that why you were hiding on the balcony?"
Yang hummed, "I wasn't hiding but... I guess I just didn't want to dance with anyone else tonight."
"You're dancing with me though."
Now Yang chuckled, "Well you didn't give me much choice Princess. Besides shouldn't you be dancing with Neptune?" Weiss pulled back, raising an eyebrow at Yang. "Y'know your date..."
Weiss sighed, leaning back against Yang's shoulder. "Neptune's not my date. Honestly I only asked him so that I wouldn't have to go alone because I knew the person I wanted to go with wouldn't go with me." Yang's surprised by this but Weiss doesn't see. "It's okay though, at least I got to have one dance with them."
At this point the music stopped and Weiss pulled back offering Yang a polite curtsy before moving away through the crowd, leaving behind a very confused Yang.
No but I can just imagine all our OC's lining up to do JNPR's dance number; all of us, the muns, cheering our babies on in the background, and no one questioning it.
Ready for the Beacon Ball, if only it had orange trimming
Are we all just gonna ignore the fact that
Ruby took a sip of Jaune's punch?
