Cure for Cancer?

My mother recently brought home the name of a product that several of her co-workers have sworn they have used and it has worked: the Rife Ray.

The device was created by Royal R. Rife and is claimed to use specific frequencies of radio waves to eradicate tumors. At least two of her associates have successfully used the device. Each session is about an hour long and costs only $10.

Why haven't we heard of this previously? Supposedly there is a medical conspiracy that bars any medical professional from endorsing the procedure, lest they lose their license. One co-worker has claimed that his wife was suffering from cancer and no treatment was showing improvement, so he chose to ask her doctor about the Rife Ray. The doctor took a card, and began to write.

"I can't help you. I'm sorry." These were the doctor's words as he slid the card across the table. A card which held information regarding someone who could provide the beam treatment. They proceeded with the treatment and her cancer disappeared.

So what I'd like to ask is: Have you heard of this? What are your thoughts? Fact or fiction?
