same first bean anon!! i feel like most legumes (beans lentils peas etc) are some of the veggies i eat the least 🤔 that being said i LOVE snow peas (i think they still classify as a legume) !! i love using them in stir fries! i feel like flavor wise they don’t add much, but they offer some nice crunch when cooked right and to me they’re more satisfying to eat than green beans :) but i will not eat minestrone soup because... the beans... also the flavor profile of minestrone is not something i enjoy... but it seems like a very hearty soup and i find that very respectable, beans or no beans <3

Omg I love snow peas!!!! I feel like you and I have the same tastes with respect to beans lol. We understand how they contribute to a dish, so they are allowed, but they are on thin ice!! (Except for the fun offshoots like snow peas).

Sad for you about minestrone because all soup is beautiful and delicious but I respect your distanced respect lmao.
