When I'm hyperfixating on a fandom, I have to look up if there is Rule 34 of the characters. I may not find them attractive, I may even be disgusted by what I find, but I have to see if there is explicit material.

I liked a character but then I had one bullshit interaction with a stan of hers and I am almost completely sour on the character now. part of me wants your blorbo to die in canon now, partly because I want to see what it does for the narrative. but mostly because I want you to be mad about it.

I eat bread and sandwiches crust first. sometimes I press white bread flat or ball it up into a dough lump. I swear it makes a difference to the taste and sometimes the texture is just so pleasing

My sin is that on art pieces, if an artist doesn't reply to my comment and does reply to others, then I just stop commenting or at least comment less. Especially if I notice that the artist only replies to friends or they have some bullshit reason (one time an artist said they only reply to people who actually comment something about their art, I literally commented about the use of color and the angle and poses, got no reply, while a friend who just said smth like "I'm barking" got a reply. At least be honest that you only reply to friends)

So that's why I often stop bothering when after multiple tries I simply just don't get any replies

does anyone else ever wonder if there are celebrities like actors and singers who moonlight as people in fandom. like *x person* draws sparkledogs on their more anonymous account during their off time. or *insert person here* writes fanfiction. just something i think about sometimes it'd be interesting

one of my mutuals has an f/o who is my blorbo, and I've gotten so used to her posting about him like he's her husband that sometimes when I have romance ideas about him that don't work well with anything in canon, I put her in the place of his love interest

I go out of my way to ship characters that the fandom decides have a "family bond" when theyre not related at all, usually because i liked them first & then the spite i feel at the fandom drives me to ship them even harder. Sometimes i even put one of the characters in the place of one of the others main ships, and vice versa, just to prove to people that its all ridiculous

when I was 14ish my friend asked me to draw a somewhat suggestive drawing of a character from the Welcome Home arg (of which the creator has specifically said they don’t want their characters to be sexualized) and I did it. I still feel kinda bad.

If I see art where I enjoy the art style my fave character is portrayed in but it’s of a pairing I don’t like, I will often save the art but crop/edit out the offending character—or whatever else is making the implication of the unwanted ship, like text or symbolism. (I’m really good at editing, so I can make it appear as though those elements were never there.) I never repost this edited art publicly, but I do sometimes share it privately with friends who are none the wiser and who I know don’t particularly care about checking for sources.

Sometimes I go on a popular confession blog for my fandom and I send hate or slander of my favorite character because I enjoy seeing other people trip over themselves to defend said character. It makes me smile and kick my feet a little.

I have also sometimes sent fake argument anons back and forth because I myself have multiple opinions that I’m mulling over, exaggerating both sides for effect, and I like to see people’s responses to either extreme of the topic I’m falsely fanning the flames of discourse over.

If I'm taking a fandom quiz on uQuiz or whatever, and the result is just the character's name and zero description (sometimes not even a picture), your quiz is getting a 1 star review. SOMETIMEs a 2 star review if the actual questions were thought-out. If you're not gonna bother to even put a short description of what the result actually means/says about the person taking your quiz then I feel like I just wasted my time on it

I get INTENSELY invested in whatever media i happen to be enjoying at any given time, but i have never once felt like i was able to b a part of a fandom (Always kinda feels like im watchin everybody party from a window outside)

I’m a selfshipper/yumeshipper and I’m certain that my f/o would not be attracted to me or interested in me in any sexual or romantic context in cannon. I just really like them and want to love them, and they need more love in their life in general even in non-intimate contexts. I would never pursue or pressure anyone I knew wasn’t into me irl, but because the character is fictional I feel like this is different.
