"Happy Halloween, Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Scary!" The duck said, pushing forward a basket that held stuff for a standard canine. Dog treats, dog food, a food and water bowl, some squeaky toys! All that fun stuff! And of course, it was all pretty and pink and covered in hearts for the occasion!
A scowl is quick to find its way across Rethrash’s lips upon spotting the familiar duck – one he swore would adorn his wall one day. Though primarily hostile, mild intrigue accompanies his expression as he approaches with some sort of gift basket. When it becomes evident that the basket is for him, he somehow looks even more unamused than previously.
He might not be from around here, but it was February. It was not Halloween; he knew this. Nor did this “gift” seem like it’d prove any use to him.
Yes, Rethrash. That’s how he’s trying to insult you; your lack of knowledge on holidays.
❝And I’ll bet you think you’re hilarious,❞ the wolf scoffed.
