14. At what point do you come up with a title?

i answered this here and basically said that i decide on a title right after i figure out the basic premise so it’s usually the second thing i do? very early on. 95% of the time they’re based on song lyrics, but the other 5% is inspired by canon quotes (”in full bloom,” “a partner to be proud of”) or something random that has to do with the fic (”closure,” “high tide season,” “give them something to talk about”).
