Forest Park is a jewel in St. Louis’s crown and during Saturday afternoon of HiBearNation 23, we are offering you a chance to experience some of our city’s greatest cultural treasures within this 1,371 acre park. Originally the site of the historic 1904 World's Fair, Forest Park boasts many beloved attractions such as the Saint Louis Zoo and Saint Louis Art Museum.
Recently ranked as the “#1 Zoo” and named the “Best Free Attraction” in the nation by the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards contest, the Saint Louis Zoo has been renowned for its beautiful naturalistic exhibits and for its diverse collection of animals from the major continents and biomes of the world. Visit stlzoo.org to learn more.
One of the last architectural structures still standing from the 1904 World’s Fair, the Saint Louis Art Museum is one of the nation's leading comprehensive art museums with collections that include works of art of exceptional quality from virtually every culture and time period. Visit slam.org to learn more.
Admission to both the Zoo and Art Museum is FREE! Special exhibits at both attractions are at an extra cost. Bus transportation at the Holiday Inn-St. Louis Downtown will be provided to and from Forest Park for attendees with a run pass. Drop off will be within walking distance of both attractions.
