i genuinely didn’t “attach” to either of my parents as a baby, and the abuse afterwards and BPD makes it nearly impossible for me to trust people deeply without being horribly paranoid and emotionally violent, but 🐻 husband has shown me over 10(!!!!!) years that when your actions show choosing someone and loving them you can learn how to even be able to attach to people and love them

i am in awe every day i get to wake up with my best friend and every night we get to go to bed together in our endless sleepover 💖💖💖
