Take one look at me or my hubby Tom in a swimsuit and you can say to yourself "They haven't missed a meal in quite some time!" We won't take that as an insult because it's the truth... What we DO find insulting is the fact that right here, IN AMERICA, summertime means a season of increased hunger for many kids who rely on their school systems for food. When school is out, many of them are out of luck... and hungry... and that just isn't right. It's a tough time in this country, so many people are struggling, and kids are caught in the middle of it all, hostages to bad fortune. Tom and I both strongly believe in the work that Share Our Strength / No Kid Hungry is doing to help kids who need it the most, and I'm now a monthly donor.
