Beast Legends - The Winged Lion
Beast Legends - Wildman of Vietnam
The 1998 Godzilla of all dragons.. The 'dragon' from the series Beast Legends.
Nicknamed 'Dino', Dragon In Name Only.
The ending is disappointing. If it’s supposed to be similar to an orangutan yet more our size, why do they give it tiger sounds? Like wtf. Apes, chimps, and Orangutans have way better vocalizations than that shit. And they make it into some scary monster. Of course.
It IT a 2010 show, so I shouldn’t be surprised, but it’s still stupid to me.
COWS! THEY FOUND COWS IN A CAVE AND THEY ARE SO CUTE I LOVE COWS
Literally, Steve is a racist dickbag with a self inflated sense of self. He’s trying to scare Francis about it, describing how Orangutans can be violent when eating, and saying shit like ‘the wild man wants to rip your arm off”
When like. Literally. All sightings have been by people who said that the wild man has run off in fear or expressed curious surprised.
Steve just keeps alluding to how “backwards” he thinks Vietnam is, and he thinks he’s the best adventurer and keeps ripping into Francis about it.
He’s just a racist dickbag.
Vietnam looks breathtaking in this episode though. And I like how they mention that they are still discovering mammals there. Chimpanzees, Orangutans, Apes and extinct Hominid/Hominin Species fascinate the hell out of me, so it would be great if they discovered that there were still Orangutans or descendants of them still in Vietnam.
This episode has a lot of mild racism and imperialism. I don’t like one of the hosts, Steve. He’s that British man I talked about in the previous episode.
Like, it’s not overt. At all. But I can still see it.
