My hot take is that if you say Cyclops doesn't have Laser Vision or Heat Vision, you're being pedantic and contrarian for no reason.
His eyes produce highly focused beams of light that generate heat.
At worst, you can say his eyes are portals to a dimension of kinetic energy that comes out as highly focused beams of light, and the force of the kinetic energy generates heat.
But that's literally a distinction without a difference.
