actually you know what, second LGBT canons response:

i've been queer in most of my kin canons in one way or another, but one other that i also want to talk about is my beast boy canon.

idk what my sexuality was exactly but i was bi or pan or SOMETHING. all i know is that at some point post-canon (when we were both adults), cyborg and i got together and eventually got married!! i love him a lot still but there's next to NO content for that ship 😭 i can't really find any fanart and theres barely any fanfics.

vic, wherever you are, i love you! i miss you! i wish i could turn into a cat again and curl up on you and listen to the hum of your circuits. blowing you a big exaggerated kiss MWAH. take care out there, alright?

Aqualad, despite how you piss me off, I've developed a bit of a grudging respect for you. I can't even say my hatred was really rational in the first place, but I did enjoy bickering with you.

I still don't really know how I felt - feel - about you, just that sometimes I do miss you. I don't know if I miss you the way I miss Terra, or Raven, but it's something adjacent to that, I think.

Canon cringe!

Someone want to tell me why I, a vegetarian, needed blood to survive? Like

Cringe!! Was I a vampire? No! Just some really really awful joke of fate! I could still get nutrients from normal food but my mutation made me ~~~cranky~~~ (feral and dangerous) if I didn’t drink some fuckin human blood once a day!

An apple a day keeps the doctor away and a cup of blood keeps BB chill I guess??

Why my Robin wanted to be with me and be my boyfriend still is beyond me!!

As a kid I was always super conscious when it came to animals and insects- I would cry if a bug got squished because he was just chilling there why did he have to die??

I’ve always been really big into body mods, and have 20 tattoos and 4 piercings (snakebites, septum, labret, guages) which looking back is probably just me trying to modify my appearance at will like before

I’ve always gone through these phases of being vegetarian for months on end (usually stopping due to cost)

My favorite color is sage green and has been for a long time

Not as much of a canon sign but maybe? Every time I’d see him on screen my though was “this dude listens to mostly early 2000s club bangers and r&b” which I don’t think is ever mentioned but I felt it in my BONES

I’ve always been kind of anxious, over explaining myself or trying to make myself smaller in the presence of others

I’ve been Wiccan/Pagan for forever now, mostly dealing with tarot and scrying

If other people ask me to read for them I always get uncomfortable and kind of play it off like “oh no I’m…not great at it. Sorry.”

I like to know things ahead of time, and sudden changes to the plan or day spook me

I’ve always been superstitious- knock on wood, cross my fingers etc

I used to run around telling “I’m a Tom boy” as a little girl, and would always be told no you aren’t…well they were right because I’m not a tomboy I’m a transman!

Lgbt canon:

Bruno was demiromantic and demisexual; also a trans man

Beastboy was super gay like 100% men only. Men who were cis, men who were afab- didn’t matter as long as they presented male. (Could be bias as his robin was his first and pretty much only love)

canon interests: obviously as beast boy i had a huge interest in animals and biology!! and this is something that's true of the present as well. i looove animals and nature, and i'm full of fun facts. my like, party trick that i pull out is "name any animal and i'll tell you one thing you probably didn't know about it". doesn't work as well with other people who also have a lot of animal knowledge though, haha! (pls tag as teen titans and young justice!)

For canon cooking: As Beast Boy, I remember always trying to get the other Titans to try my veggie or vegan dishes. There was a lot of skepticism and rejection haha but there was a decent amount of times they liked them! The stuff gets a bad rep but I loved it! 🐣🧵
