also! this blog follows a canon that instead of dying, maurice’s proximity to byleth and the crest of flames managed to reverse the ‘ negativity ’ ( aka a crack crest. ) that had filled his crest and reversed him back into ‘ human ’ form.

( and boy, does he have a lot of words about the church. )
