arcane multi-world break fun
Caitlyn grumbled, as she had forgot to feed once again. So one of the maids of the house had made sure to bring her a glass, of slightly thicker red substance that might have looked like wine save for how it clung to the side of the glass. She twisted it around, before catching sight of her other self.
"I swear, the arcane had a sense of humor to constantly make our worlds clash together. Been awhile," Cait commented, as she put the drink to her lips and realized... she had been denying herself her drink.
Caitlyn had sighed as she sat down on her chair, shifting her shoulder around and whincing as she felt a sting of pain there. She had asked all the servants to leave her be and she reached for the nearby table to grab the scotch and pour herself a generous amount. It was only when the glass touched her lips that she felt something shift, and as she put it down she now saw her other self there.
"I believe it does...though perhaps it waits for the appropiate time for the worlds to collide, I mean what are the chances we'd both be alone drinking at night in this exact room at this exact time." She motioned to the chair in front of her, unsure WHOSE home they were in right now, but she was already sitting so just in case it was her time to be the host she'd allow her to sit down with her. "You look a bit worse for wear, Caitlyn...has it been long since last you fed?"
It was a system they had established, after all they couldn't call each other Caitlyn without it being confusing. So they'd take turns 'owning' the name, and it was her 'double's' turn, for which she'd assume the name 'Rin Rin', a nickname her Oba used to call her, and since Chiasa was a point of divergence in their backgrounds, one she could freely use.
"Do you need something fresh? I've had to feed a friend recently but I've recuperated enough..."And she begins to unbutton her shirt to make space for her neck to be shown.
