Coronation of The Beastslayer

So this is my first story in nearly 5 years and is also my first Seth Rollins fic.

Tagging @queenofthearchitect because she is my new bestie here and has helped inspire me to get my mojo back. I hope you like it.

Fluffy and really sweet.

(This is also my second attempt at posting this since my dumb finger slipped and closed out the text box when I was about post this.)

When the bell rung as the three count was made, the crowd erupted cheers. It sounded like a riot during March Madness or after the biggest win at the Superbowl.

“Your winner and the NEW WWE Universal champion, “Mike Rome called out through the arena, “Seth Rollins!”

You took off running from the gorilla, not waiting for your music to boom through the arena. You didn’t stop running until you lid into the ring.

“Oh my god, Seth,” you cheered as you wrapped your arms around him, “You did it! You slayed the Beast! I’m so proud of you!”

“I couldn’t do it without you in my corner,” he breathed into your ear as he held you close, “You’re my reason to keep going.”

You stole a tender kiss from him before letting him go. Seth climbed the turnbuckle and hoisted his title high over his head, sharing his victory with the Universe. As you watched, you thought back on everything he’s been through.

You thought of Ring of Honor, where you first met each other and he had you at hello.

You thought of FCW and beaming in pride as he ran the iron match gauntlets, proving he was better than his peers and deserved to be in the WWE.

You thought of NXT and watching as he became the first ever NXT champion, and giving a sneak peak to all of the gold he would later win in his career.

You thought of his main roster debut at Survivor Series 2012 and watched as he dominated the yard with hiss brothers in the Shield.

You thought of his cash-in at Wrestlemania 31, and was so proud of his quick-thinking and always keeping everyone guessing.

You thought of his injury and seeing him so heartbroken as his title was ripped from him. You remember doing right by him in turning face and betraying the Authority when they tried to replace him so quickly.

You thought of him slaying the King, Triple H, at Wrestlemania 33. You cheered from the press box, out with your own injury, as he burned it down.

You thought of the following Wrestlemania 34 and being so proud of him finally completing his grand slam with the Intercontinental title.

And you thought of his win at the Royal Rumble. That moment started this journey to war with Lesnar. You watched him rally the WWE Universe every stop along the way, watching him get back up after every F5 thrown his way.

Now you’re here with him, basking in his victory as he whips his title over his head like he has done with every title since Ring of Honor.

You were now in the gorilla, the celebration in the arena was over, but the celebration backstage was far from over.

“This is it,” you turned to face him, “You’re at the top of the mountain. Now you have to cement your legacy and be the fighting champion that has been lacking on Raw.”

“And I can’t wait,” he beamed with pride before enveloping you in his arms and giving you a quick peck on the lips, “But for now, I’m going to bask in the glory and take my number one girl that has been with me since day one and celebrate in our hotel room.”

“I love you, my Beastslayer,” you smiled brightly and kissed him tenderly.

“And I love you, my good luck charm,” he lead the way back to his locker room to shower and change.

Tomorrow is the start of a whole new chapter in his career, and you knew where you belonged.

Right in his corner.

Beast Slayer (Seth Rollins)

This was a request that was sent to me ages ago. Sorry for the wait. GIF IS NOT MINE

“How do you feel?”

Seth looked up to see his girlfriend looking at him with a small smile on her face.

“I feel a little nervous but I’ll be fine” he said as she sat down next to him. “How do you feel?”

Y/N chucked as she thought about the women’s battle royal she participated in. “I’m fine, Asuka threw me out of the ring pretty hard but I’ll survive...and I’ll get her back for that”

Seth laughed as she leaned her head on his shoulder. “I heard they made your match first?”

“Yeah, and I’m kinda glad they did so I don’t have to wait much longer” Seth said as he finished getting ready for his match. “I can’t believe it’s actually happening tonight. I’ve waited so long for this moment and now I’m about to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship”

“And I know for a fact that you are going to slay the beast” Y/N smiled at him as one of the stagehands knocked on the door.

“Seth? You’re match is next we need you in gorilla”

“Be right there!” Seth told him as he turned to you. “Next time you see me maybe I’ll be the champ?”

Y/N wrapped her arms around him as she gave him a hug. “I know you’ll be champ. And I can’t wait to see you beat Brock Lesnar and bring the title back to Raw”

Y/N gave Seth a quick kiss and sent him on his way to gorilla so he could prepare himself for the biggest fight of his life.

“Here is your winner....and NEW WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION....SETH ROLLINS!”

Tears of happiness streamed down Y/N’s face as she watched Seth raise the title over his head in victory as the crowd cheered his name.

Y/N ran to gorilla right when Seth walked through the curtain and jumped in his arms. “You did it! You slayed the beast and I’m so proud of you. I knew you could do it”

Seth looked down at her with a smile on his face. “Thank you, You believed in me when no one else did and I can’t thank you enough. I love you more than anything”

“I love you even more. And I know you’ll be the fighting champion that WWE deserves” Y/N said as she leaned up and kissed him.

Seth wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to him. He just won the WWE Universal Championship and he had the greatest women in the world by his side.

Life couldn’t get better than this.
